Which size of menstrual disc is right for me?

Choosing the right size for your menstrual disc is essential for comfort, effectiveness, and an anatomically correct fit.Unlike menstrual cups, the disc is not placed in the vaginal canal but at the base of the cervix. Therefore, the size depends not only on your menstrual flow but also on other factors such as the position of your cervix, your age, and whether you’ve had vaginal births.

Our PapayaDisc is availabile in two sizes:

Size S (small)

Recommended for people with a low cervix, under the age of 30, or who haven’t had vaginal births. It’s more compact, making insertion and removal easier for those with a narrower anatomy.

Size L (large)

Ideal for people with a high cervix, over the age of 30, or who have had vaginal births. This size offers a larger capacity, making it perfect for heavier flows and longer wear time between emptying.

Tip on cervix height:

If you’re unsure about the height of your cervix, you can gently check during your period.
👉 If you can easily reach it with your fingertip, it’s probably low.
👉 If you can barely feel it or not at all, it’s likely high.
